For the second time, the town of Vannes (Morbihan) opened its doors to thirty teenagers aged 12 to 16 from Konotop (Soumy), Ukraine.
For ten days, these young people, confronted with the difficult daily life of a country at war, experienced a moment of respite.
Staying with families from Vannes, they took part in sporting, cultural and educational activities, discovering the richness of Breton culture while sharing moments of friendship and solidarity with the local people.
This visit is part of the partnership signed in September 2023 between Vannes and Konotop, with the support of the Stand With Ukraine association. This cooperation was sealed at a meeting between mayors David Robo and Artem Semenikhin, who affirmed their shared desire to strengthen ties between their two cities.
