We are delighted to invite you, as part of the Babylon Villeneuve project, to a special screening of the documentary Fragile Memory, directed by Igor Ivanko and produced by the Babylon’13 collective.
Synopsis: Leonid Burlaka, a Ukrainian filmmaker from Odesa and recipient of the Order of Merit of Ukraine, made a lasting impact on cinema with his films, widely shown during and after the Soviet era. Today, he suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. His grandson Igor, the documentary’s director and a young cinematographer, discovers undeveloped photographs and delves into the memories of this great filmmaker.
