To mark the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence and as part of the Babylon Villeneuve project, we are delighted to invite you to a screening of the documentary Independence of Ukraine by the renowned Ukrainian collective Babylon’13 at Les Amarres in the 13th arrondissement of Paris!
This unique documentary, filmed in a single day on August 24, 2022, and directed by Volodymyr Tykhyi, offers an intimate glimpse into Ukrainian life through the stories of everyday heroes, from the beaches of Odesa to the streets of Kyiv.
🎨 Following the screening, attendees can explore the charitable exhibition “Even in the Darkness, There Is a Light” by Ukrainian illustrators Pictoric, showcasing the courage and resilience of Ukrainians in the face of adversity.
