In August 2023, a group of young Ukrainians had the opportunity to escape the realities of war for a few days during a cultural trip to Ploeuc-l’Hermitage. With the support of Stand With Ukraine, ten Ukrainian youths from Ovruch, along with their chaperones, were warmly welcomed for a ten-day stay in the town of Côtes-d’Armor.From August 19 to 28, 2023, ten Ukrainian children aged 9 to 16, accompanied by Natalia Rybynska, Deputy Mayor of Ovruch, were hosted by the municipality of Ploeuc-l’Hermitage and its mayor, Thibaut Guignard. On August 24, 2023, Paris celebrated a significant milestone in its relationship with Ukraine by inaugurating the "Kyiv Garden – To the Ukrainian People."
