International Mayors’ Summit in Moldova

On April 11, 2024, Ukrainian mayors and representatives of the European Union participated in the International Summit of Mayors held in Dănceni, Moldova. The event centered on fostering cooperation between European and Ukrainian cities, with Stand With Ukraine in attendance.Among the 480 participants, around 60 were mayors and representatives from Ukrainian communities, seeking to strengthen ties with the European Union and other nations. Blood Games: Meeting Ukrainian athletes in Lviv

The Stand with Ukraine team met with Ukrainian athletes Valeriia Tereta (flatwater canoe/kayak) and Viktor Legkodukh (shot put) at Lviv City Hall to discuss the impact of the war on their lives and the unacceptable participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the Paris Olympic Games.Viktor Legkodukh, a young officer, suffered a spinal injury at the start of the war in 2014, at the age of 21.
