Paralympics 2024: Visit of a delegation of Ukrainian Mayors to Paris focused on inclusion and accessibility

A delegation of Ukrainian mayors and city representatives was welcomed in Paris for an exchange visit to share experiences on how Paris enhanced accessibility and inclusion in preparation for the Olympic and Paralympic Games..     The delegation began their visit with a warm welcome from Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, Ukrainian Ambassador to France Vadym Omelchenko, and representatives of the Paris City Council. Exceptional welcome for Ukrainian Paralympic athletes by the Mayor of Paris

Over 80 Ukrainian athletes who competed in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games were warmly welcomed yesterday, Friday, September 6, 2024, at Hôtel de Ville by Anne Hidalgo.The Mayor of Paris had pledged: "Ukrainian athletes and para-athletes will be celebrated in Paris as heroes."
