The violent attacks by Russian armed forces continue to target civilians in Ukraine, with a dramatic toll this weekend.
Missile strikes hit a two-story residential building in Dnipro on Friday, October 25, killing five people, including a child, and injuring around twenty others. In Kyiv, drones were used to attack the city. A residential tower was hit, causing a fire on four floors and killing two people.
In response to this escalation, President Volodymyr Zelensky is calling on the international community to exert increased pressure on Russia to end these barbaric acts. “The Russian murderers have returned to their old habits”, he reacted.
It is more urgent than ever for the international community to fully mobilize to support Ukraine by providing essential humanitarian aid, supplying weapons, and authorizing the use of long-range missiles to enable Ukraine to defend its population against aggression, while actively working for a lasting peace.
