📸 The photo exhibition “Dawn, enfants d’Ukraine” by the talented Youry Bilak is running at the Atrium de Chaville until October 26, 2024.
👧 🧒 🇺🇦 Through 33 photographs, taken from reports in several Ukrainian cities since the large-scale Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, the photographer shows us the upheaval and trauma experienced by children and their families in wartime. The images capture the resilience of children from Butcha, Irpin, Hostomel, Borodyanka, Chernihiv, Novoselivka, Yahidne, Lukashivka, Mariupol and Vinnytsia.
🇫🇷🤝🇺🇦 Chaville is twinned with the Ukrainian town of Koryukivka, thanks to a partnership set up by Stand With Ukraine and the Île de France Region on the occasion of the “Ile de France et Ukraine : Engagés Ensemble ” forum held on December 6. This twinning aims to forge strong links between our two communities, promoting cultural, educational and human exchanges. These Franco-Ukrainian partnerships are essential for supporting Ukrainian populations and promoting resilience and reconstruction projects, while strengthening solidarity between our cities.
