February 24, 2025 marks the tragic third anniversary of the Russian invasion. To mark these three years of war, Stand With Ukraine wants to share with the French public the richness and diversity of Ukrainian culture.
The #YellowAndBluePages initiative aims to promote classic and contemporary masterpieces of Ukrainian literature, translated into French, by making them accessible in municipal libraries across France.
By celebrating these literary voices, we affirm that Ukraine exists, resists — and that its culture will never be erased.

With the expertise of Iryna Dmytrychyn, Stand With Ukraine has selected around thirty major works of Ukrainian literature translated into French. This curated list highlights essential writers whose work bears witness to Ukraine’s cultural wealth and history.
This project is part of the #MistoMatch initiative led by Stand With Ukraine, which aims to build strong, lasting ties between French and Ukrainian cities, while strengthening cultural and human solidarity between France and Ukraine.
