As part of the Babylon Villeneuve project, we are pleased to invite you to the French premiere of the documentary We Stay Firm by the acclaimed Ukrainian collective Babylon’13, taking place at Bercy Beaucoup in the 12th arrondissement of Paris!

Instead of shedding tears, soldiers choose to laugh. On the front lines, humor becomes a vital weapon — offering comfort and solidarity.
At the end of 2023, the DocNoteFilms team traveled thousands of kilometers across Ukraine to ask a simple but essential question to service members: Can we still joke during war?
Soldiers from the 17th Tank Brigade, the medical team of the International Legion, and members of the Thor and Hammer units offer their answers — with humor and heart.
The film was produced by DocNoteFilms, in collaboration with Babylon’13, and supported by the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation.
