On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, and as part of the Babylon Villeneuve project, we are pleased to invite you to a special screening of the documentary Independence of Ukraine by the renowned Ukrainian collective Babylon’13, at Les Amarres in the 13th arrondissement of Paris!
This unique documentary, filmed in a single day — August 24, 2022 — and directed by Volodymyr Tykhyi, takes you to the heart of Ukrainian reality through the stories of everyday heroes, from the beaches of Odesa to the streets of Kyiv.
Following the screening, you’ll have the chance to explore the charity exhibition “Even in the darkness, there is a light” by Ukrainian illustrators from Pictoric, celebrating the courage and resilience of Ukrainians in the face of adversity.
