Special Screening of the Documentary “One Day in Ukraine”

As part of the Babylon Villeneuve project, we are delighted to invite you to a screening of the documentary “One Day in Ukraine”, produced by the renowned Babylon’13 collective, at Cinéma Nouvel Odéon in Paris’s 6th arrondissement!
🎬 Directed by Volodymyr Tykhyy, this film captures life in Ukraine on a single day: March 14, 2022.
It marks the 2,944th day of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. In just three weeks of full-scale invasion, a post-apocalyptic atmosphere has set in. Thousands of Kyiv residents have moved into metro stations for shelter, while once-quiet suburbs of the capital have become battle zones, suffering destruction and looting by Russian forces.
Traditional notions of time have vanished—people no longer speak of “workdays” or “weekends” but rather count the days since February 24…
The film follows the lives of a pop star, a video engineer, a historian, an art restorer, a polar researcher, and a retiree, all of whom have been forced to radically change their lives.
