Concert by the Renaissance Chamber Orchestra of Mariupol in Le Havre

February 28 @ 20:15 - 22:30

Founded over 35 years ago, Renaissance is more than just an orchestra — it is a symbol of cultural resistance in the face of adversity. Forced to flee their occupied hometown, the musicians found refuge in Kyiv, where they continue to keep alive a vibrant Ukrainian repertoire too often overshadowed by history.

🎻 Le Havre – Friday, February 28 at 8:15 PM

📍 Théâtre de l’Hôtel de Ville, 1517 Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, 76600 Le Havre

As part of the Friendship Day between Le Havre and Mariupol, this concert will be a powerful moment of solidarity and culture. The orchestra will perform works by Ukrainian composers, from Baroque to contemporary, alongside European masterpieces such as Mendelssohn.

🎤 With the presence of:

  • Vadym Omelchenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to France

  • Vadym Boichenko, Mayor of Mariupol

  • Edward Mayor, President of Stand With Ukraine
