Chaville hosts the exhibition ‘Dawn, Children of Ukraine’

The photo exhibition “Dawn, Children of Ukraine” by the talented Youry Bilak is currently being held at the Atrium in Chaville until October 26, 2024.
Through 33 photographs, taken from reports made in several Ukrainian cities since the large-scale Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, the photographer shows the upheavals and traumas experienced by children and their families during wartime. The images capture the resilience of children from Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, Borodyanka, Chernihiv, Novoselivka, Yahidne, Lukashivka, Mariupol, and Vinnytsia.

Chaville is twinned with the city of Koryukivka in Ukraine, thanks to a partnership established by Stand With Ukraine and the Île-de-France Region during the “Île-de-France and Ukraine: Engaged Together” forum that took place on December 6. This twinning aims to create strong ties between our two communities by promoting cultural, educational, and human exchanges. These Franco-Ukrainian partnerships are essential to support the Ukrainian population and promote projects of resilience and reconstruction while strengthening solidarity between our cities.
