Alexander Yegorov, director of Lokomotiv Kyiv, testifies to the destruction of his club by a Russian missile.

On January 23, 2024, at 7:30 a.m., the Lokomotiv Kyiv stadium was destroyed by a Russian missile. The toll of one dead and four seriously injured could have been far worse, as the attack occurred just minutes before the arrival of the many children who train there.

Among the 800 children hosted by Lokomotiv, nearly half fled Russian aggression in the temporarily occupied territories, including Mariupol.

Oleksandr Yegorov, director of Lokomotiv, testifies and calls for the exclusion of all Russian athletes from international competitions, including the Paris Olympic Games.
