The ‘European Advocacy’ Forum 2023 Concludes After Two Intense Days of Work

Organized by Promote Ukraine, the European Advocacy forum concluded after two days of intensive work on November 9 and 10 at the European Parliament in Brussels. The event brought together around thirty participants, including Stand With Ukraine and other European organizations from 18 different countries, all dedicated to defending Ukraine’s interests.

The event began with an opening ceremony, followed by several panels covering topics such as the protection of democracy in Europe, security, the economic potential of EU-Ukraine relations, and international justice regarding war crimes in Ukraine. Workshops were also held to develop advocacy campaigns for the upcoming 2024 European elections.

To strengthen cooperation and partnership, an online platform, Ukraine Leads, will allow organizations involved in protecting and promoting Ukraine’s interests to centralize their advocacy efforts and coordinate actions.

Participants also signed an official manifesto to promote a shared vision in support of Ukraine and committed to developing advocacy campaigns for the upcoming European elections in 2024.

The signing of the manifesto symbolizes the unity of Ukrainian civil society within the European Union and aims to support Ukraine’s victory, ensure lasting peace, and strengthen Ukraine’s role within the European Union.
