March 2024. The Stand with Ukraine team visited Unbroken, the rehabilitation center in Lviv that provides medical care and prosthetics to those injured and evacuated from the frontlines.

Christina Klymko, project manager at Unbroken, gave us a tour of Ukraine’s largest hospital complex, the Clinical Municipal Communal Emergency Hospital, which has treated over 80,000 patients since the start of the full-scale war in 2022.

This hospital, which receives adults, children, and military personnel weekly, has increased its capacity tenfold and continues to expand. It now includes prosthetics workshops, enabling self-sufficiency and rapid adaptation to the needs of the injured.

Unbroken has an ongoing need for training, medical equipment, and doctors.
