A Maternity Ward and Children’s Hospital Bombed by Russia
On Monday, Russian missiles struck the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv, leaving children trapped under the rubble.
In Kyiv’s Dniprovsky district, a maternity ward was also bombed, resulting in seven deaths and three injuries.
Dozens of Kyiv residents quickly mobilized to clear debris and save lives.
This barbaric attack is part of a series of strikes that hit multiple cities across Ukraine. Russian forces launched 38 missiles on Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvy Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk, killing 36 people and injuring 140 others.
In Kyiv alone, the strikes caused 22 deaths and around 100 injuries, according to preliminary reports. Power outages were reported across the country. In Kryvy Rih, the toll stands at 10 dead and 31 injured.
In the face of such destruction and barbarity, the world must act. Russia brings nothing but death and devastation. These acts of violence must be known and condemned by all.
