Last night again, Russian missile and drone strikes hit civilian areas across Ukraine: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr… causing numerous deaths and injuries.

The head of Kyiv’s military administration responded to the attack by stating it represented “Russian peace in all its glory.”

In Kyiv, the Sviatoshyn district was severely hit. Two residential buildings were partially destroyed. The latest toll reports at least 9 dead and 70 injured — including 6 children.

This is not just a military war. It is a war against innocent civilians.

President Zelensky reminded the world that it has now been 44 days since Ukraine agreed to a full ceasefire, initiated by the United States. And for 44 days, Russia has continued to strike Ukraine, killing innocent people, without facing sufficient pressure to stop.

“Through his actions, not his words, Putin shows he respects no peaceful efforts and seeks only the continuation of war. Weakness and concessions will not stop his terror and aggression. Only strength and pressure will.”

— Statement by Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga

Ukraine is calling for a real, immediate, and unconditional ceasefire — and for strong, united pressure against those who choose terror over dialogue.
