The day after the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, an extraordinary gathering place will open its doors:
Located at the Trabendo, in the Parc de la Villette, this Ukrainian House is the result of a close collaboration between France and Ukraine, and will stand as a powerful symbol of solidarity and friendship.
Among the expected guests are Matvii Bidnyi, Ukrainian Minister of Youth and Sports, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, French Minister of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Vadym Omelchenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to France, who will also deliver a speech.
The program for the following days will include exhibitions, concerts, film screenings, Ukrainian cooking classes, and meetings with athletes, filmmakers, and other Ukrainian public figures. Outside, large screens will broadcast live coverage of the Olympic Games, so visitors can cheer on their favorite athletes.
The Ukrainian House ‘Volia Space’ is open free of charge to the public, daily from 12 PM to 9 PM, until August 10.
