Stand with Ukraine was born from the will of European, French, Franco-Ukrainian and Ukrainian citizens to unite in support of the Ukrainian people, their culture and their right to exist as an independent and sovereign nation, threatened with annihilation by the Russian regime.
Created on February 22, 2022 on the eve of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Stand with Ukraine is an association of Ukrainian and French citizens attached to the defence of Ukraine, Europe and our freedoms threatened by Russia. Our objective is clear: encourage and organize support in France for a free, sovereign and European Ukraine, until victory.
Bringing together leading experts on Ukraine in France, Stand with Ukraine aims to raise awareness of the Ukrainian cause in French society and among decision makers. Our association is committed to informing French citizens about Ukrainian society and the significance of the war, protecting and promoting Ukrainian culture, denouncing the crimes of the Russian army, and providing urgent humanitarian aid. Stand with Ukraine will work with Ukrainians for the reconstruction of a Ukraine that will be stronger, more attractive, creative and European than ever.
Stand with Ukraine frequently organizes demonstrations in support of Ukraine in response to the emotion and indignation created by the Russian invasion. These events are important proof of the solidarity of French citizens with the Ukrainian people, and encourage the reinforcement of material support for Ukraine.
