On February 28, Le Havre hosted an exceptional day dedicated to Franco-Ukrainian friendship, marking a new milestone in the partnership between Le Havre and Mariupol, a project that Stand With Ukraine has supported since its inception in 2023.This bond between Le Havre and Mariupol was not created overnight. In 2023, the first Mariupol delegation was welcomed in Le Havre as part of the MistoMatch initiative, led by Stand With Ukraine to connect Ukrainian and French cities through concrete cooperation projects. Since then, we have worked hand in hand with both municipalities, supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in France, to structure a sustainable and ambitious partnership.
